Sony confident on PS4 pre-orders before Christmas
In stock for Christmas?

The boss of Sony UK has said that all PS4 pre-orders should be fulfilled before Christmas, with no stock problems expected in the New Year.
‘Everyone who has put down a pre-order so far will definitely get one before Christmas, as long as nothing goes terribly wrong,’ Fergal Gara told website CVG.

‘There may well be tight supplies at Christmas, I can see a bit of a pinch point around that time’, he added.
Orders placed before August 6 should be available day one, but anything after that may not be. However, Gara claims that the console should be ‘in free supply’ by the start of 2014.
There have been varying rumours about both Microsoft and Sony having stock problems with their new consoles at launch, but at the moment everything seems relatively under control.
Although buying either the Xbox One or PlayStation 4 without a pre-order may be all but impossible this year.
Sony has also confirmed earlier rumours of a new hardware bundle that includes the PlayStation 4 console, a physical copy of Killzone: Shadow Fall, and the PlayStation 4 Camera.
The bundle first turned up on a French website for €499, and it still doesn’t have a UK price. However Sony has said it will cost within £10 of the Xbox One’s standard £429 price tag.
A second bundle without the Kinect-esque camera has also been confirmed for €439 (£369), but it also doesn’t have a UK price yet.
